Privacy Policy: Eon Gmail Push

Last updated: 14 October 2026

What this is

Eon Gmail Push is a personal application created and operated by Harish Darko for use with his own Google accounts only. It is not a public or commercial service, and it has no other users.

What it accesses

With the owner's consent, the app reads email from the owner's own Gmail accounts using read-only access, and receives mailbox-change notifications through Google Cloud Pub/Sub.

How the data is used

Only to alert the owner about new email in near real time and to sort it for him: security alerts, job-related mail, bills, and routine mail. Nothing else.

Sharing

Data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties, and never used for advertising.

Storage

Data is processed on the owner's own systems. Sign-in tokens are kept in access-controlled storage. Undelivered notifications are kept by Pub/Sub for up to 7 days, then deleted automatically.

Revoking access

The owner can revoke the app's access at any time from his Google Account's third-party access page, or by deleting the Google Cloud project.

Google API disclosure

Eon Gmail Push's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
